Darren E. Reese has served the President & CEO of The SESCO Group, a privately held Indianapolis-based environmental consulting firm in its 23nd year of business, where he plans and directs the strategy for all aspects of the company. As President & CEO, Reese leads a team of 30 professionals in two states building strong relationships with clients, their representatives, state regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure that practical and innovative solutions to their unique environmental issues can be achieved. He also leads the implementation of multi-layered Brownfield Real Estate Redevelopment Solutions. He currently specializes in optimization of Public & Private sector projects, financing, and continually strives to ensure that all redevelopment work being performed is to the highest ethical standards in compliance with all government regulations.
Between late 2009 and early 2013, Reese served as Director of Development Services for the City of Marion, Indiana where he assisted the Mayor on community and economic development issues.
Prior to that, Reese worked with Ivy Tech Community College in the areas of workforce and corporate development.
Reese has a thorough understanding of organizational dynamics and regulatory structures. This, combined with his ability to communicate effectively through all socioeconomic strata allows him to deliver creatively superior solutions to sophisticated issues.
Reese is a licensed real estate broker, holds a Bachelor Degree from Ball State University, post-graduate certificates from the University of Oklahoma, Indiana University and a Master Degree from the Kokomo Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA).
