Scott Turcott

Indiana Wesleyan University

For 19 years, Dr. Turcott served as a professor of Communication Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2010, he enrolled in the IUPUI School of Philanthropy completing a two-year series of courses in fundraising. From 2010 to 2016, Dr. Turcott put that knowledge into action by gaining invaluable advancement experience while serving at his alma mater, Eastern Nazarene College, as vice president for institutional advancement. Scott returned to IWU as associate vice president of campaign operations in January of 2017. One year later, he graciously agreed to function as the interim vice president of University Advancement before being officially confirmed as the vice president for University Advancement in July 2018.

Dr. Turcott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Religion from Eastern Nazarene College as well as both a Master of Education and Doctor of Education in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University. Scott is a gifted leader, whose IWU relationships have been and will continue to be an asset in this role.

Dr. Turcott is married to Rosalyn, the Hands of Hope community education coordinator at Family Service Society, Inc. Scott and Rosalyn have three sons, Jordan, Jesse, and Seth, all of whom are graduates of IWU
